📱 Xiaomi / HyperOS Setup Guide
Configure these 5 settings so your Xiaomi phone can receive messages when the screen is locked or app is closed.

Allow Notifications
Go to Settings → Apps → Manage apps → Animals → Tap Notifications → Turn ON.

Enable Sound in Notification Categories (Crucial for Sound)
In Notifications, scroll down to Notification categories (or Sites) → Tap the category → Set Sound to a ringtone (do not select 'None') and turn ON Vibration.

Lock Screen & Floating Notifications
In Notifications menu, ensure Allow lock screen notifications and Allow floating notifications are enabled.

Enable Autostart
Open Security App → Permissions → Autostart → Find Animals (or your browser) → Turn ON.

Battery Saver → No Restrictions
In App info → Tap Battery saver → Choose No restrictions. (Prevents Xiaomi from killing the background sync when the screen is locked).

Lock App in Recent Apps
Swipe up to open Recent Apps → Long-press Animals card → Tap the Padlock 🔒 icon to lock it in RAM.
